ZAPTEK BD Seller Agreement

In short: you open your own shop on ZAPTEK BD (zaptekbd.com) and sell your products in your own name; ZAPTEK collects the customer's money on your behalf and pays you your share after commission, fees and VAT. You are fully responsible for your products — their quality, authenticity and legality — and for any fraud by you or your people.

1. What you get

• Your own store page and product listings on zaptekbd.com, with customers all over Bangladesh.
• ZAPTEK collects the customer's money (Cash on Delivery, bKash, Nagad, bank) — you need no payment system of your own.
• Two delivery options: ZAPTEK delivers, or you deliver with your own courier.
• Seller Center: orders, stock, earnings, payouts and sales reports in one place.
• Your earnings become withdrawable 7 days after delivery and are paid (normally weekly) to your verified bKash / Nagad / bank account.

2. Money

• Commission: 10% of the selling price excluding VAT — at least Tk 10 per unit. Some categories or sellers have their own rate; every order's rate is shown in Seller Center.
• Payment / collection fee: 1.5% of the selling price when ZAPTEK collects the money.
• VAT: you bear the VAT on what you sell. The VAT contained in the price is deducted from your share and paid to the government by ZAPTEK.
• Discounts: ZAPTEK's coupons, bundles, referral and reward points do not apply to your products and never reduce your share.
• Delivery charge: the customer pays one weight-based charge. If you deliver yourself, you get a share of what is left after ZAPTEK's own parcel cost, by weight; your courier cost is yours. If ZAPTEK delivers, bringing the goods to ZAPTEK is at your cost.
• Self-delivered COD: the cash your courier collects stays with you; ZAPTEK's commission, fee and VAT then become your debt and are deducted from later earnings. Over Tk 5,000 of debt, Cash on Delivery on your self-delivered products is switched off until you pay.
• Cancelled / returned / refunded: the earning for that item is reversed; if ZAPTEK's parcel had already left, your weight share of the courier cost is charged.
• ZAPTEK may set off anything you owe (debts, refunds, penalties, damages) against your payouts. Payouts are made only from a positive balance.
• Changing your payout account needs ZAPTEK's approval.

3. What you may do

• Sell genuine, legal, saleable products with accurate descriptions, real photos and correct prices (VAT included).
• Change your stock at any time; new products and changes to price or description go live after ZAPTEK approves them.
• Offer your own warranty — and honour exactly what you state.

4. What you may NOT do

• Sell counterfeit/replica, stolen, expired or recalled goods; illegal or banned goods (drugs, weapons, explosives, prescription medicines, adult content, wildlife, currency, government ID documents, etc.); dangerous goods couriers do not carry.
• Use anyone's trademark, copyright or photos without permission.
• Show fake "old prices" or false discounts, misdescribe products, place fake orders or write fake reviews.
• Take customers off the site, avoid the commission, or use customer information for anything other than delivering their order — or pass it to anyone.
• Accept orders without stock or cancel orders without a valid reason.

5. Orders and delivery

• Within 48 hours of an order, pack it and hand it to ZAPTEK (ZAPTEK delivers), or ship it yourself and enter the correct courier and tracking number.
• Deliver within 5 days in the same city and 10 days elsewhere (Digital Commerce Operation Guidelines 2021).
• Tell ZAPTEK at once if you run out of stock. Repeated delays or cancellations can lead to penalties or suspension.

6. Returns, refunds and warranty

• ZAPTEK BD's return policy (Terms & Conditions) applies to your products.
• For wrong, damaged, fake or not-as-described items, the full refund and the courier costs are yours.
• You must honour the warranty you offer.

7. Fraud and full responsibility

• You carry full and sole responsibility for your products, their descriptions, quality, authenticity, legality, safety and warranty, and for any fraud, false information or illegal act by you or your staff or agents.
• You will fully compensate ZAPTEK BD and hold it harmless from any claim, loss, fine, penalty or legal cost that results — whether from a customer, the government or anyone else.
• If fraud or a breach of law is suspected, ZAPTEK may hold your payouts, deduct amounts from your earnings, remove your products, suspend or close your account, and give your identity and records to law enforcement, the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection or any other authority.

8. Suspension and closing

• ZAPTEK may suspend or close your account at any time for a breach, complaints or risk; your products are then hidden from the store.
• You may close your account with notice. After open orders are finished and the return period has passed, your balance is paid less anything you owe.

9. Content and privacy

• ZAPTEK may use your product texts and photos on the site and in promotion; you confirm you hold the rights to them.
• Your NID and personal details are kept private; your store page shows only your shop name and district.

10. Changes and law

• ZAPTEK may update this Agreement; the new version is shown in Seller Center and material changes are notified. Continuing to sell after that means you accept it.
• This Agreement is governed by the laws of Bangladesh (including the Digital Commerce Operation Guidelines 2021, the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009 and the VAT & Supplementary Duty Act 2012). Disputes are first settled by discussion, otherwise by the courts of Dhaka.
